Philips Oxygenate 5L Oxygen Concentrator

Philips Oxygenate — 5 L/min stationary oxygen concentrator for home use. Oxygenate is Philips' compact home concentrator. It draws in room air, removes the nitrogen and delivers continuous-flow oxygen at up to 5 litres per minute through a standard nasal cannula or mask, so there are no cylinders to refill or store. It is designed to run for long periods every day, quietly enough for a bedroom, and is operated with a single flow-control knob and an on/off switch.

Oxygen is a prescribed therapy. Use the flow rate and hours your doctor has set, and do not change them without medical advice. What is included?

The Philips Oxygenate concentrator with its power cord and the accessories supplied by Philips in the box. Nasal cannulas, extension tubing and humidifier bottles are consumables; tell us what you need and we will add them to your order.

Setting up at home

Place the machine on a hard floor with clear space around it on all sides so air can circulate, away from curtains, heaters and anything that could block the inlet. Plug it directly into a wall socket rather than an extension lead, set the flow to the prescribed rate and let it run for a few minutes before use. Do not smoke or use open flames in a room where oxygen is being used, and do not oil the machine or its fittings.

Care and servicing

Wipe the case with a damp cloth. Clean the external filter regularly and replace nasal cannulas and humidifier water as directed. Internal filters and the sieve beds are serviced by a technician; message us if the machine sounds different, alarms or the flow ball drops.
