ResMed AirFit F40 Full Face CPAP Mask – Fit Pack (SW/M/L)

ResMed AirFit F40 — ultra-compact full face mask fit pack (SW + M + L). The AirFit F40 is ResMed's smallest full face mask. Its low-profile cushion seals under the nose and around the mouth and is shaped to flex with the face, so it holds a seal while you talk, yawn or change position without needing tight straps. Nothing rests on the bridge of the nose, the view is clear enough to wear glasses or read, and the lower straps use magnetic clips for quick removal. It suits mouth breathers and people who need therapy through nose and mouth but want the least possible bulk.

What is included?

• A quick-release elbow for connection to compatible CPAP tubing.

This is a complete mask set for standard CPAP tubing. A CPAP machine and main breathing tube are not included.

Find your fit with the included cushions

F40 cushion sizes are specific to this mask; Small Wide is the smallest size and is wider than it is tall, which suits many faces that need a small cushion. Do not carry over a size from an AirFit F20 or F30. All three cushion sizes are included in this fit pack. Machine compatibility

Works with ResMed AirSense 10, AirSense 11, AirCurve and Lumis devices, and with other CPAP or bilevel machines that use standard tubing. On ResMed devices select the "Full face" mask setting. Important information about magnetic clips

This mask contains magnets. It must not be used when the wearer, or someone in close physical contact while the mask is worn, has a contraindicated magnet-sensitive implant or device. Examples include certain pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin or infusion pumps, and specified ferromagnetic implants or metal fragments. Check with your clinician and the implant manufacturer when unsure, and read ResMed's complete magnetic-mask contraindications and warnings before use.

Care and fitting

Follow the ResMed user guide supplied with the mask. Clean the cushion, vent ring, elbow and short tube daily after use; clean the frame and headgear weekly. Follow the ResMed F40 user guide for disassembly, mild-detergent washing and thorough rinsing, then air-dry away from direct sunlight. Keep the vent clear. Do not overtighten the straps to stop a leak; the F40 is designed to seal at a light tension, and persistent leaks can have several causes, including fit, cushion condition or assembly; follow the fitting guide or contact us for help. Replace the cushion when it softens, discolours or no longer seals.
