Löwenstein Prisma 25S BiPAP Machine

Löwenstein prisma25S is a BiLevel-S (BiPAP) device for prescribed therapy with separate inspiratory and expiratory pressures. It offers flexible pressure adjustment for patients with high or fluctuating pressure requirements or difficulty tolerating conventional CPAP, following assessment by a qualified clinician.

• Machine only: prisma25S with the standard accessories listed below. No mask is included.
• Complete package: the same device and standard accessories, plus one Löwenstein CARA mask. Confirm your required mask style and size before ordering.

Neither package includes the prismaAQUA humidifier or a heated breathing tube. These are separate accessories. Confirm that the selected package matches your prescription.

Contents follow the manufacturer's published standard scope of supply. Confirm country- or device-specific accessories before ordering. Fine/pollen filters, prismaAQUA and heated tubing are not included.

Therapy and comfort features

• Intelligent triggering: automatic or three-level adjustable trigger sensitivity and a configurable inspiration ramp support coordination with spontaneous breathing.
• Comfort functions: Bi soft 1/2, autoPDIFF and autoTriLevel, plus softSTART, autoSTART and autoSTOP, depending on the prescribed mode and configuration.
• Colour touchscreen: a clear interface for operation and therapy-data review.
• Data support: SD, PSG and LAN interfaces, with an optional external modem for prisma CLOUD. Compatible software includes prismaTS and prisma APP; relevant accessories and services may be required.
• Optional humidification: compatible with prismaAQUA, smartAQUAcontrol and a heated breathing tube when appropriately configured.

Important: BiLevel-S is not BiLevel-ST

prisma25S does not provide a timed backup rate. A prescription requiring ST mode or a backup respiratory rate needs an appropriate ST-capable device selected by the clinician. This model is for spontaneous bilevel therapy and is not a substitute for the prescribed ventilatory mode.

The treating sleep or respiratory specialist must determine the diagnosis, therapy mode and pressure settings. Do not change clinical settings without the prescribing clinician's direction. Confirm mask compatibility and any required humidifier, heated circuit or other accessory before starting therapy.
