Description

ResMed AirFit F20 — complete full-face mask set. This set includes the mask frame, headgear, elbow and silicone InfinitySeal cushion in your selected size. It covers the nose and mouth for prescribed CPAP or bilevel therapy, with a flexible frame and no forehead support.

What is included?

One AirFit F20 mask frame.
One silicone InfinitySeal cushion in the Small, Medium or Large size selected above.
Headgear with magnetic lower clips.
A quick-release elbow for connection to compatible CPAP tubing.

This is a complete mask set. A CPAP machine, main breathing tube and AirMini setup pack are not included in this standalone listing.

Machine compatibility

Use with compatible CPAP or bilevel equipment and the appropriate breathing tube. AirMini requires its dedicated F20 connection and tubing setup. This standalone F20 mask does not connect directly to AirMini by itself. See the F20 mask and AirMini setup package or the AirMini compatibility guide before choosing a travel setup.

Important information about magnetic clips

This version contains magnets. It must not be used when the wearer, or someone in close physical contact while the mask is worn, has a contraindicated magnet-sensitive implant or device. Examples include certain pacemakers, defibrillators, neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin or infusion pumps, and specified ferromagnetic implants or metal fragments.

The manufacturer's separate 15 cm distance warning does not make use appropriate where a contraindication applies. Check with your clinician and the implant/device manufacturer when unsure, and read ResMed's complete magnetic-mask contraindications and warnings before use.

Care and fitting

Follow the instructions supplied with your exact mask. ResMed's AirFit F20 guidance describes daily cleaning of the frame, elbow and silicone cushion, and weekly handwashing of the headgear. Rinse thoroughly and allow components to air-dry away from direct sunlight. Inspect the mask for damage and avoid overtightening the straps to compensate for an unsuitable fit.

Frequently asked questions

Will AirFit F20 work with CPAP and BiPAP?

Yes. It uses a standard PAP connection and is commonly used with CPAP, APAP and BiLevel devices.

How tight should the headgear be?

Tighten only enough to achieve a stable seal. Over-tightening can increase pressure marks and sometimes worsen leaks.

How often should I replace the cushion or mask?

Replace parts when they become worn, stiff, damaged or no longer seal well. As a general guide with nightly use, ResMed suggests a new cushion about monthly, the frame and elbow about every three months and the headgear about every six months.

Can I use F20 if I have a pacemaker or implant?

F20 uses magnetic clips. Review the current ResMed magnet contraindications/warnings and ask your clinician if you or a bed partner has an affected implant.
