ResMed SlimLine CPAP Tubing

ResMed SlimLine — lightweight non-heated CPAP tube. SlimLine is the slim 15 mm breathing tube that ResMed supplies with the AirSense and AirCurve range. It is lighter and more flexible than a standard 19 mm hose, so there is less drag on the mask when you turn over and less bulk around the bed. This is a straight replacement for the tube that came with your machine, without heating.

Who it is for

• Anyone whose original tube has stiffened, cracked, split at the cuff or started to smell.
• Anyone who wants a spare tube for travel or for the wash-and-dry rotation.
• Users who do not need a heated tube: if you get condensation in the tube or a dry mouth with the humidifier turned up, look at the ClimateLineAir (AirSense 10 / AirCurve 10) or ClimateLineAir 11 (AirSense 11) instead.

What is included?

One ResMed SlimLine tube, 1.8 m long, 15 mm inner diameter, with a standard cuff at each end.

Machine compatibility

• ResMed AirSense 10, AirSense 11, AirCurve 10, AirCurve 11 and Lumis: connects directly to the air outlet. Check that the tube type in the device menu is set to SlimLine so the pressure is delivered correctly.
• ResMed S9: compatible, with the tube setting changed to SlimLine.
• Other CPAP and bilevel machines with a standard 22 mm outlet: the cuffs fit, but a machine that expects a 19 mm tube should be set for a slim tube if it has that option. Message us with your model if you are unsure.
• Not compatible with the ResMed AirMini, which uses its own tubing.

Any mask with a standard connector fits the mask end.

Care and replacement

Wash the tube weekly in warm water with mild soap, rinse thoroughly and hang it to dry away from direct sunlight. Do not use bleach, alcohol or dishwasher cycles. Replace the tube when it becomes stiff, cracked or the cuffs no longer grip; ResMed's resupply packs for AirSense 10 / AirCurve 10 and AirSense 11 combine a SlimLine tube with a water chamber and filters.
