Löwenstein CARA Full Face CPAP Mask

Löwenstein CARA Full Face — complete full face mask set. CARA Full Face is Löwenstein Medical's lightweight mask for people who breathe through the mouth during sleep, or who need therapy through both nose and mouth. A soft silicone cushion covers the nose and mouth, the exhalation vent is quiet, and the swivel elbow lets the tube move with you. The headgear uses simple clips and contains no magnets. It is designed to pair with the prisma range but uses a standard tube connection, so it also works with other CPAP and bilevel machines.

What is included?

• One CARA Full Face mask with the cushion size selected above (Small, Medium or Large).
• Adjustable headgear.
• Elbow with swivel for connection to standard CPAP tubing.

A CPAP machine and main breathing tube are not included.

Choose the correct size before ordering

The cushion should sit on the bridge of the nose and just below the lower lip, and seal at a light strap tension. Sizes are specific to CARA and do not correspond to ResMed or Philips sizes. Message us with your current mask model and size, or use the sizing assistance on this page, and we will help you choose before you order.

Machine compatibility

Works with the Löwenstein prisma SMART, prisma 20A, prisma 25S and prisma 25ST, and with ResMed, Resvent and other CPAP or bilevel machines that use standard tubing. It does not connect to the ResMed AirMini. Select the full face mask setting on your device if it has one.

Care and fitting

Follow the Löwenstein user guide supplied with the mask. Wash the cushion daily and the frame, elbow and headgear weekly in warm water with mild soap, rinse well and air-dry away from direct sunlight. Keep the vent holes clear and never block them. Do not overtighten the straps to stop a leak; a full face cushion that only seals when tight is the wrong size. Replace the cushion when it softens, discolours or no longer seals.
