ResMed ClimateLineAir Heated CPAP Tube

ResMed ClimateLineAir — heated tube for AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 and Lumis. ClimateLineAir is the heated breathing tube that turns on Climate Control on ResMed's Air10 platform. A heating element runs the length of the tube and a sensor at the mask end reports the air temperature back to the machine, which adjusts the humidifier and tube heat together. The heated tube helps maintain air temperature and reduce condensation ("rainout"). Condensation can still occur depending on room temperature and humidity settings; follow the device user guide for Climate Control adjustments.

Who it is for

• Anyone using an AirSense 10, AirCurve 10 or Lumis with the HumidAir humidifier who wakes with a dry mouth, dry nose or nosebleeds on a standard tube.
• Anyone who gets water pooling in the tube or gurgling in the mask when the humidifier is turned up.
• Users who want the machine to manage humidity automatically with Climate Control Auto rather than setting humidity and tube temperature by hand.

What is included?

One ClimateLineAir heated tube with the electrical connector for the Air10 heated-tube outlet at the machine end and a standard cuff at the mask end. It replaces the SlimLine or standard tube supplied with your machine; no adapter is needed.

Machine compatibility

• Compatible: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet, AirSense 10 Elite, AirCurve 10 VAuto, AirCurve 10 ST and Lumis series with the HumidAir humidifier fitted. The machine detects the tube automatically and offers Climate Control settings.
• Not compatible: ResMed AirSense 11 and AirCurve 11, which use the separate ClimateLineAir 11; S9 devices, which use ClimateLine; and the AirMini.

Any mask with a standard connector fits the mask end. If you are unsure which generation you have, check the model name printed on the label underneath the device or send us a photo.

Care and replacement

Wash the tube weekly in warm water with mild soap, rinse well and hang it to dry away from direct sunlight; never put the electrical connector in water beyond a rinse and dry it fully before use. Inspect the tube for cracks, stiffness or a loose connector and replace it if the machine reports a tube fault or heating stops working. The AirSense 10 / AirCurve 10 resupply pack combines this tube with a water chamber and filters in one maintenance bundle.
